I would suggest black stockings...but if you are afraid to wear it because of your very light skin color, I would suggest skin colored stockings.

Absolutely white! Fair skin against black and white can be very attractive. What you are considering is the part between the dress and the shoes. Shoes should be a black dressy pump or heel.

It depends on the attire that is suggested for the wedding. But a black knee length sounds totally appropriate for an evening wedding.

I don't know that you really need pantyhose. If you are wearing a knee length dress it seems like even though it's an evening wedding it's fairly informal. Another reason you could get by without pantyhose is because it's still summer.

Just a nude color to go with your skin tone. Don't distract from the dress with black/white stockings. Nude stockings and a sharp pair of patten-leather shoes. Nice.

Unless you're 6 years old or going to a business meeting, you shouldn't wear stockings.
So what if you have fair skin, a lot of people do and they don't wear hosiery. I just think with your outfit you will look too childish and a bit tacky.

You probably shouldn't wear them as they are really just unnecessary; especially in the summertime.
However, if you absolutely must wear them, I would suggest a color called "bisque." It's not white (which would make you look like you're a nurse on duty) and it's not anywhere near "tan" either (which would just look completely silly - instead of making your legs look tan, it will make your legs look like you're got on "brown" pantyhose or tights.)
I think Bisque would match your very fair skin tone much better.

Nude in the lightest color they have. I'm very fair too and they do have different shades for different skin shades. As to black or white, i guess it would depend on which color is more prominent in your dress.

well i woul dwear a tan pair to kind of make your skin look natural or go for a spray on tan and wear your bare legs hey fair skin is in fashion now so dont be ashamed of it im not

oh my stockings are very very far out of style. like 80s
you should try using some tanning lotion. :) use lotion before you put on the tanner, to avoid messy streaks.
as a general rule, don't wear white stocking either. unless you're 5. and they make your legs look fat.
