Because this is one of those hair pulling problems that pops up unexpectedly at closing time when you have some new kids doing tires that are not as careful as an old timer and rust will stop the nuts from turning freely.....I have lots of experience with this.

Generally it is .30 (1/3 of an hour) labor for the first one and .10 (1/10th of an hour) labor for each additional. The cost of the lug bolts varies for each car but they are relatively cheap like $1.50-3.00 each. And the lug nuts are maybe 50 cents to a dollar something each. They will use at least one additional nut and some thick washers to "draw" the new lug bolts through the wheel spindle and throw these away when they finish.

The process involves removing the wheel, then the brake caliper and brake rotor, then push the old broken bolts out with a air chisel the spike attachment on it or a ballpeen hammer and knock them out. Some cars do not have adequate clearance behind the wheel spindle and the backing plate has to come off and this can add labor time and frustration. Most cars are engineered with enough room to make this a relatively easy repair. After they remove the broken lugs they will poke a new lug through and throw some washers on it and a lug nut and then start tightenting it down until the back of the new lug bolt is flush to the back of the spindle plate.

You do not need to replace any undamaged lug bolts unless the reason the others broke was an over-torqued condition that stretched the bolts past their tensile strength causing them to snap.
I've seen this happen and the people it happened to were the "experts" working on their own cars and their car comes back on a tow truck after a wheel flies off while cornering and damages the whole wheel well and front door and so on.

No bad cars, only bad mechanics!

I would guess that your total cost would be $50-100 depending on the hourly labor rate at the shop you go to.

Cadillac shops get an arm and a leg an hour while other shops just take an arm or a leg for an hour of labor.

Good Luck!

Have all the lugs replaced at the same time. Should be cost of parts plus labor. About 2 hrs of labor at $80 p/h and $10 per lug for parts.

the stud bolts are not that expensive, something like two or three bucks and not hard to replace. i would take it to the place you bought your tires they should replace them without much hassle since it's caused by over tightening anyway later, bye
