I'm gonna go with the Angels...they took 2 out of 3 from Boston at home a week ago and then stole 2 out of 4 at Fenway park (.500 is a success on the road especially at Fenway of all places) and now won 2 straight against the hottest team in baseball while sweeping the tigers at home earlier this month...

Of course, you'll never get accurate responses, since fans will say their own team. But as a Red Sox fan, I think the Angels are the team to beat. It's a hard thing to say, because I still think the Red Sox are gonna win this year, but no other team in Baseball scares me more than the Angels. They are right now the best team in baseball. It's not always just about where they are in the standings, and though a number of teams in the A.L. are contenders, I think if it's not the Red Sox in the World Series, it will be the Angels. The Yankees just don't have the right pitching this year to get it done.

Miss. Rodriguez you are wrong the Angels have played two 3 game series at New York this season. Angels sweeped them in one series and NY beat them 2 games to 1 in the other. If the Angels win tonight they will have a 7-2 overall record against NY this year. As for the Angels being the best team in baseball it really doesn’t matter. What matters what is what team gets hot in October. Also don't count out the Seattle.

I have to go with the Angels aswell, they beat Boston, they've taken two in a row vs. the Yanks, the tigers are falling, they have a great pitching staff: Colon, Weaver, Lackey...all very good starters, they have a strong young squad and Vlad to lead them...can you say World Series title...I think yes.

You always have such intelligent and inspiring questions Prashant.I'm going to have to go with the..............Red Sox!!!!I would take my 5 starting pitchers over the Angels or Yankees any day.We may have Gagne, who has yet to prove himself worthy of being in a Sox uniform, but we do have one of the best bullpens in the Majors.And our offense is heating up.Go Red Sox!!!!

well the records show the Angels are a great team but the red sox have a better record the Yankees are still a team in contention

i will say the angel right now but the yanks and red sox always do good at the end of the season....but if i had to pick my fav it would have to be the angels, just look at the line up...
