Everyone thinks its gross, but they haven't tried it! Is it just me?

It's delicious. Try this:
1 pound lean ground beef
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) can chili beans
1 (16 ounce) bottle French dressing
1 head iceberg lettuce
1 (14.5 ounce) package tortilla chips
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 cup chopped tomatoes
4 tablespoons sour cream
1/2 cup prepared salsa
DIRECTIONS
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef and drain excess fat. Stir in the taco seasoning, chili beans and French-style dressing. Fill the dressing bottle 2/3 full of water and add to the skillet. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes.
Crush the bag of chips, open the bag, and toss the broken chips into a large bowl with the lettuce, cheese and tomatoes. When the meat mixture is done, combine it with the lettuce, tomatoes, chips and mix well. Then, add salsa and sour cream.

I worked at a resteraunt that used French dressing on their taco salad. I don't prefer it, as I love real spicy food, but many peopleordered it.

I haven't tried but it does sound good!!! I do put Ranch or French on my spaghetti, though....sounds gross but actually tastes pretty good!!!!!

I put 1000 Isle Dressing on it. It's very good.

all salad dressing is gross-everytime I smell it I think of my dishwashing job!!! (I was forced to try "ranch", -I'd say it's ok but I'm not a salad person.)

When my mom makes it, or anyone else in my family for that matter, thats what they use. French :)
...I very much so dislike Thousand Island.

I always put red chili on mind. So, as long as you leave the chili off then it sounds okay to me.

I do it too! It's good! But I don't just put it on. I like to mix it in and everything =]

I put ketchup on tacos...that's almost the same thing

I prefer thousand island, but no you are not the only one who does it.
