He made his fame starring in the television series "Full House" (which launched the Olsen twins on their career), and later hosted "America's Funniest Home Videos". On the latter show, he was famously horrible -- never funny and kind of a dweeb. If you've been called a "Bob Saget" I would not take it as a compliment.
