Lucille's, Road House, or Reb's any others? I live in the High Desert of Southern California, just moved here. Looking for good and moderately priced rib/steak style places with southern inffluence. If you've been to any of the above, let me know which one you prefer.

Best is "Texas Roadhouse," based in Indiana, but we have them in PA and MD. I've also been to one in NC. Don't know if they have them in CA. World's best ribs! Never heard of any of the 3 you mention . . . unless the middle one IS Texas Roadhouse?

i prefer almost any mom-and-pop diner..they seem to have better food and service..dont know why..these franchised diners seem more concerned about profits...over here in ''west ginny'' we call em ''choke-and-pukes''...not to be mixed up with them thar road-kill establishments...bona patite....beam me up hash cook
