I have a 99 Ford Contour. I have the battery and alternator checked by a mechanic and it is all fine. But my car just won't start by itself...It require jump start everytime i need my car...

What could be the problem??

Try using another battery..........testing is not always right...........starter may be taking all the current so this may also be a problem.

bad solenoid to the starter, lose wirer or bad wirer, weak starter, battery is to small for the job, battery terminals need cleaning or are loose. Why did you not have your mechanic check it out?

There could be alot. Check and make sure the cables are tight first. Otherwise, you have an electrical problem that only an auto electrician can solve.

Dirty battery terminals or bad starter.
