hi there, i'm sorry you're going through this, there's a website where you can find out more about the prices on the east coast, also find various dr/s clinics near you and quite frankly i'd shop around among those to see what's best, you also can ask questions there to a fertility specialist for free, and i've read he always warns people to make sure there are no hidden costs when doing this research, try www.FErtilityTies.com
good luck to you!

i dont know if your partner is also female or not. I can really relate to your situation. I was in a lesbian relationship for 10 years. I wanted a baby so bad and I also considered IVF. I was turned down because I wasn't married to a man. I been ttc now for 3 months with a man in which I have fallen in love with. We're also planning marriage. A baby would be the icing on my cake. I really wish you the best!!!

My friend just did that but I am not sure how much she paid. Unfortunatly she lost the baby but I think they are going to do it again.
They picked the donor from a book I believe.
Good luck!

I'm not sure of the cost, but you could consider adoption. You could be at the birth, and take the baby home from the hospital, all that stuff and you could love a baby that someone else decided they couldn't .

you'd be looking at at least $10,000. my friend's sister was having trouble and that's the starting cost in TN to try once.... and it doesn't always work the first time....and her husband of course donated the sperm....so it may be more with that. btw...i don't think healthcare covers that anyways....i'm pretty sure it's an out-of-pocket expense.
