Honestly, its hard to say! I mean, I think that he loves Sharon because that is his comfort zone. That is what he remembers. Sharon on the other hand doesn't know what the heck she wants! One day its Brad, the next its Jack and now that Nick wants her she thinks she wants him. I have noticed that she really seems to like whoever is paying to most attention to her!~ However, I think that now that Nick has gotten to know Phyllis and noticed the heart that she really has, the love that she has for her children and the love for him. She has not given up on him once this whole time. I have a feeling that Nick is realizing why he loved Phyllis so much and decided to be wit her. They kind of complete each other. There has definitely been more of a connection between the two of them lately! The dance, how he has been close to her lately, sticking up for her to Nikki (thank the Lord! I can't stand that deceitful *****! Then today she had the gall to make it seem like poor Summer had to be in the daycare and she disapproved! She is the one that wants her not to have a mother! I think that is worse than any daycare!), the fact he took the day off to be with Phyllis!
I think that it would be kind of nice to see Sharon trying to leave Jack for Nick and then Nick telling her that he is in love with Phyllis! She kind of deserves it! Don't get me wrong, I think she is beautiful but so is Phyllis...Sharon used to be such a sweet loyal person but anymore she has become quite deceiteful. That definitely makes her less attractive!
Some days though I think that the writes and directors are going to have Phyllis and Jack get back together and Nick and Sharon back together. But, I really hope not!

I think Nick is very attracted to Phyllis. How can he help it. She's the body of daytime TV. It's a choice between Strawberry and Vanilla (Sharon). He just feels very nostalgic when it comes to Sharon. Nick did a lot of growing up after Cassie died. He did a lot of soul searching. He just doesn't remember. Sharon cheated on him so many time mentally and physically. He and Phyllis' love grew out of an adult relationship (no play on words). They knew how to have fun. He never had fun with Sharon. He always had to be on guard. He can be himself with Phyllis. I agree with you whole heartedly.

I think he is trying to be there for her in her time of need and he doesn't want "his" little girl taking away from Phyllis but I still think he is in love with Sharon deep down!

I hope so, the only problem is that the Writers and Directors don't really care what we think they just want the money and sometimes I wonder about how they find out how popular a show is since they only have a select few people that do the surveys.

I don't think he is, I think he just feels sorry for her... I think Phyllis and Jack make a better couple, and so do Nick and Sharon... but I can't stand Sharon and her 'I'm sweet and innocent' attitude!

I dont think he is and I know this will piss you off but I dont think he ever was in love with Phyliss. I think he loved her and enjoyed being with her but I never thought of them as more then mere sex buddies. And Phyliss was not Nick's first choice. She was, for lack of a better term, a rebound chick. And there is tons of evidence that proves that, so I wont go there. With that said Nick wants Sharon and Sharon now wants Nick. Its only a matter of time before they get what they want.

No I don't think he is. He said it himself a few episodes ago that he was in love with Sharron and always be. I think that Nick is just trying to comfort Phylliss so that she doesn't feel like a nothing if she has to go to jail. He knows that her trial is coming up very soon and so he is trying to give her a little respect and comfort her. Especially because he knows how much she loves Summer and may be parted from her for a long time.

I think so too...yesterday when they were dancing you could see the connection...I enjoyed watching them fall in love from lust the first time and it'd be cool to watch them fall in love from being friends this time around
