Does anyone know if a wife can bring a civil suit against the woman who knowingly went into an adulterous relationship with her husband? Has it been done before that anyone knows of?

It depends on the state but it has been done before...contact an attorney.

**I think that if more men and women were held accountable for indfidelity there would be ALOT less! Not that there would be less divorce...just less cheating!

You can sue anyone you want. Just keep in mind, that doesn't mean you will win. Adultery is still a crime on the books in most states as a misdemeanor but I have never heard of any prosecutor filing such a case as adultery is so prevalent in our society today.

Talk to an attorney.

Probably, check with a lawyer. However wives who get mad at the other woman usually do so to take the blame off the lying cheat they married.

Your husband made the promise and commitment to put no others before you, not the other woman. She owes you nothing.

it sure as hell should be possible. Not only is the husband guilty, but the whore he cheated with, too, if she knew and willingly slept with him. Though in most cases men manipulate women, and woo and wine and dine them into believing they they're single. HOWEVER some times these women are the ones pursuing the married men, in that case THEY NEED TO PAY TOO.

You need to look into your state laws. They vary by state... so I cannot tell you that, but I will check into it here.

I know it is easy to blame her and if she knowingly did then yes it is her fault. However the husband is the one that made the commitment and he is also the one that broke it. take half his stuff that will be the best revenge.

contact an attorney but if she doesn't have anything your not going to get anything, just in case u win. most courts really don't care anymore, most states have the no fault divorce now. yes your hurt but the more u invest in them the longer your going to hurt over this. leave with your dignity just move on, show them who u are by how u handle this. your husband allowed it to happen he is the one who chose to do it.

You can sue her for alienation of affection.

Aside from that, just leave the guy, HE'S the one that swore to be faithful to you, not her. Direct your anger to the proper target.
