The guy has enough money to buy good lawyers, so they should focus on the people who don't have the financial resources.

Also, how can they defend a guy who inhumanely abuses animals?

The person who claimed you are trying to start something obviously did not read the news The NAACP wants the NFL to let him play again.

I say hell no. Okay Okay, I'll give the benefit of the doubt that it is not the entire organization but this one person in Atlanta.
I still say hell no.
He is a disgrace and what he did was kill-yes ,kill helpless animals who could not fight back against something that outweighed them by about 4 or 5-1.
He must be given a second chance yet I have yet to hear this same organization that jumped on the band wagon to have the 3 Duke LaCrosse players hung out to dry apologize to them. I have yet to hear them say, give Imus a 2nd chance, they were right there calling for his head on a plate. Nope he should find another career. Our children look up to these football players as heroes and we should let them think that it is okay to emulate someone who thinks it is okay to slaughter an animal, how would we know if they would not translate that thinking into - it is okay to slaughter humans? Nope, he can find a 2nd chance somewhere else but not in front of a camera and in a profession where children can look up to the person. He should have thought about that before he did what he did. I guess he will learn since people have already been sending their Vick jerseys to animal shelters to be slept on by dogs or help clean up the waste left behind by them.

The Southern Christian Leadership Conference was also cautioning people against rushing to judgement a couple of weeks ago (see link #1, below).

In more recent news (link #2, below), the whole NAACP isn't necessarily supporting him, but an Atlanta spokesperson is saying Vick should be allowed to return to the Falcons AFTER serving his jail sentence. Is that the same as "supporting" him?

This spokesperson seems to think that Vick accepted a plea to "cut his losses" rather than an admission of guilt, which I do not fully buy. He also points out that the jail sentence is supposed to be punishment enough, which... I agree in principle, but not in reality. Then again, I don't watch sports anyway, so I'm not the target audience of such an argument. But I know *I* wouldn't want to give the guy any of my entertainment dollars, even after he's served his sentence.

Yeah. inspite of the fact that i do no longer think of they're actual helping him, they're incredibly announcing anticipate a court to settle on, I nonetheless think of the NAACP is incorrect right here. i actual want, they does not have performed this. i think of it incredibly is an somewhat undesirable flow and could decrease their credibility. Vick isn't even a solid place type, Why could the NAACP use their constructive time and ingredients on Vick, there are lots of extra worth reasons obtainable.

The NAACP does not support Michael Vick, you're trying to start a race debate.

Because he's black. The NAACP is a racist organization that hurts our society, not significantly, but it sure doesnt help out at all. If Vick was white, the NAACP wouldnt care about him.

Because the NAACP always sees racism as a reason for blacks being arrested. They were also one of the first groups screaming for the heads of the Duke lacrosse team. Seems they practice reverse racism while defending the truly guilty.

Because anytime a man of color is called into court, they show up to ensure he gets treated well. It gets annoying to a lot of good people that degenerates should have support simply because of a skin color. And they call us prejudiced!
