amarillo, tx is my plan. Already working towards being ready to go in may. Go to cnn.money.com and if you browse for a while there is a spot where you can enter in certain qualities in a city that are important and it will give you the best options

I would like to move to a larger city since I live in the country now. Somewhere like New York City or LA.

You didn't mention anything about yourself (yeah, "US or its territories" definitely narrows it down a bit!). ;)

How old are you? How affluent are you? Do you have/want jobs? Do you want to be near relatives or friends? Do you like the beach or do you prefer farmland? Do you like the hustle-and-bustle of cities, or the quiet of small towns? Do you want to be near shopping malls or will the corner mom-and-pop grocery suffice? Do you have any allergies or other maladies requiring a doctor or hospital? Do you need to be near good roads? etc, etc, etc.

Regardless, try the links, below, for some ideas (I'm not vouching for any; the last link takes a while to load, and the article starts about a third of the way down that page).

Depends upon your goals and lifestyle. Are you beach goers? Are you Type A personalities? Do you like hiking? Also, there are target areas for specific professions, so that would play in to the decision too. Do you like 4 seasons? Or, do you like temperate? There are some locations that have a lot of these qualities. I lived in Washington DC and within 2 hours I could go to the beach, go to the mountains, go to museums, theater, amusement parks, historical sites, and there was ample professional opportunities there. There are lots of areas like that in the U.S., it just depends on what you like!

I live in Lancaster County, PA. We've been talking about moving, too.

Maybe Montana, or South Dakota.

Texas is boring, so I'd move to New York or California.
