I was looking into buying a ASUS Crossfire AMD2 Motherboard but I wanted to know if $240 was a good deal or a little much. That's about the best motherboard for an AMD2 socket and the price is as high as my budget allowes me to go... I could always save up and get something better? Is thier anything Better?

So many questions.... what to do what to do...

You mean an ASUS CrossHAIR, not CrossFIRE and AM2 and not AMD2.

CrossFIRE is a term used for ATI's version of Nvidia's SLI technology.

$240 is a decent price for that motherboard, and it is well worth the money.

The Abit Fati1ity and the DFI lanparty are two other boards that you might want to consider if you are trying to save money. They go for about $150.

I assume you're talking about an AM2 socket. Asus offers them from 84 to 240. Since you didn't give a model number its hard to say. If you're talking about the crosshair board 240 is the going price.

Go to--Pricewatch.com--they have a lot of motherboards and many prices to compare with. They also have a lot of stores to choose from, and some even have free shipping. Its my favorite site!
