I recently read Stephen Kings novel 'Rose Madder' that has 600 pages in just over two days. I loved the fast paced and relentless plot.

I bought Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at 1 am the day it came out, started reading it at 2 am and had it read by 9 am. So seven hours for 759 pages. My boyfriend was like "There is no way you read that in that amount of time." I told him everything that happened in the book and his jaw dropped.

Yes - in ain't nuthin for me to whup that record.
But seriously - a good reader can whip though a Stephen King novel is two days fairly easily. The books are well written and fairly unchallenging (vocabulary and style) reads.

No, but I did read the original version of Shogun in two days. It had 1500 and some odd pages back when it came out.
