1. Without the Liberals, the South would've never tried to leave the country. You see...the Union was willing to let the south secede (not succeed), as long as they continued paying taxes. You see...the North wanted to keep the South in a death grip because the North was mostly industry and lacked the ability to produce the raw materials to survive. The South had far less industry, but produced the raw materials the North needed. That is why the North fought so hard to keep the South in line.

2. As well they should be.

3. Yes. All current taxes should be abolished and, instead, either a Federal "flat tax" or a Federal sales tax should be implemented. This would actually have the potential to net more money than the hundreds of taxes the Democrats have piled on to the average American.

4. No...slavery is wrong and it is good that it was abolished. I also know more than a few conservative blacks. Scary, isn't it?

5. Minimum wage is one of the biggest problems with this country. There is a direct correlation between the minimum wage and the cost-of-living, and raising the minimum wage only succeeds in merging the poor and middle-class while making the rich richer.

6. Nothing wrong with public education...as long as it teaches the truth and has acceptable standards. Which means yes...the current public education system would need abolished because of low standards and rewritten histories and would need to be reestablished with higher standards and the truth.

7. Workers' Compensation should never be abolished.

8. Isn't it the Liberals who are pushing for the Fairness Doctrine to be reimplemented?

9. Not so. Conservatives love the country as it is. It's the Liberals who want to change it.

10. Sorry bub...but Abu Gharib and Guantanimo Bay are not concentration camps. And I'm sure anyone who survived the Holocaust would be quick to tell you that.

11. You do realize the Republicans are pushing for a bill to force banks to limit NSFs and the cost of NSFs?

12. Conservatives believe in a free media. It's the Liberals who are quickest the bash any media outlet that doesn't agree with them.

13. Most Conservatives dislike Bush. It's the NeoConservatives who worship Bush. Learn to tell the difference. Conservatives and NeoConservatives are as different as Conservatives and Liberals.
