OK my Mom and Dad got a divorce when I was 3 years old.And my mom remarried and my step dad.And he has taken care of me and my sister very well,But my Biolodgical Father barely EVER paid child support. And when he did his boss would take him to the court house and my dad would refuse to go in so his boss would tell him if he didn't go in and pay up he would and then take it out of him check the next week.So he was thousands of dallors behind so my step dad( my REAL dad) told my mom to have it cancled so he wouldn't go to jail. And I NEVER see him It's been aleast 3 or 4 years since I've seen him.And now I'm 14 and i think he should be giving me a little bit of money or something. Can I take him to court and get him to pay me and my sister some money ever week or month? What are my options?Do I have any options??

It would take a really good lawyer, but I think you have a legitimate case. You were too young to speak for yourself 4 years ago, and your mother's actions then should not be material now that you are old enough to assert your rights.

You have no legal standing in the matter. Only your mother can bring legal action. The child support is for the benefit of the custodial parent to support the child or children, never for the children directly.
If your mother signed off on all arrearages and does not have a current child support order in place, it would be up to her to seek a new child support order.
Be thankful that you have a great step dad and forget about the sperm donor.

You don't have any options. Child support is paid to the "ex", not the child. There is another way to look at this: be glad that the loser is out of your life. It's not about the money, you have a step-father who has accepted you and your sister as his own. A lot of us grew up without the love and support of two parents-be grateful and tell him how much you love him. Today!

Depends on the state you are in. But most likey if you were to be granted any kind of money at all it would be placed in a trust fund until you were 18, sometimes they hold it til you are 21 or 24, depending on the judge.
Also, since your mother voluntarily stopped any collections for monies due, it could just be dismissed by the court.
You would have to get legal advice for sure.
Good Luck.

You have a dad now that takes care of you "very well". Stop being money hungry, or looking for revenge. Forget about the past. It can only eat at you and make life miserable. Make your own way in the world. Be your own success and stop relying on the forced assistance of other.
In the long run, you will be better off.

you have no options..if your mom signed off on that past due money there is nothing that can be done..it is up to your mother to see that you get some money from child support however she can not go back on money she signed off on..but she could take him back to court and try to get him paying current support

At most, your mother could get child support, but none of this would go to you.
See if your mom will give you your birth father's address. Then write him a letter. Perhaps he will give you money, or at least get to know you.

A layer or child support services can have that taken from his check. Talk with them and have mom go with you and have it pursued. He does owe that to you and your sister, he helped conceive you and you are his responsibility also.
