Anyone can apply for food stamps. They even have workers there who will help if language is a barrier. A better question may be "who can qualify for food stamps"?

Anyone can apply for food stamps. Only those who meet the requirements will receive the issuance of them.

Believe it or not, working people. If your income falls below the federal poverty guideline, you can receive assistance. I had always thought it was for the unemployed, homeless and destitute but I was wrong. Between WIC and food stamps, we made it until I found a better paying job.

anyone can apply, it's based on ur income and need. If u have children, ur more likely to get it, or if ur indegent. just fill out the form at ur local office and give them copies of everything listed on the application, and u will get an appt. It's up to the case worker and standards after that. u never know until u try.

well i tried but they said i made too much, i was over their limit by about $5. which really sucks cuz it makes u pinch pennies like never before. Pick up an app at any social service office and ask the staff if u have any questions. Good luck, better than most of us who dont qualify.

i did when i was sick and had no income tried to get medical to but couldn't they woul rather give to the illegals and women than to help a single male sorry if i offened anyone but its the truth
