Not in my house because if it hits the floor for even just a second, there is cat and/or dog hair on it immediately. (of course I clean, so don't even ask... lol) Anyone with pets that have fur can relate I'm sure.

Yea sometimes, I notice the floor. If i'm at residing house and what i dropped does not have hair throughout it then i'm going to consume it. If i'm in public or outdoors i do no longer. And whoever instructed you its the 5 minute rule its no longer so don't have self assurance them by using fact after 30 2d you have like 10 germs on that nutrition. =]

I saw that piece they did on that, on the news or whatever. The ended up saying that none of the germs found after the 5 seconds was life threatening, but I'm still not buying it. Once it hits the floor that's pretty much it.

NO. My floors are super clean just about all the time and I would never pick up and eat the food I drop. Just the way I was brought up. But I just won't do it.

depends on the food and the floor. I usually pick it up unless my dog beats me to it. He usually does. You know I love dogs:)
