This depends on the size of garden/yard you have and how often you plan on using the tiller.

For small yards the " Mantis " is a very dependable small tiller with lifetime warranty on the tines.

For larger yards go with a Troy Built, they are durable and dependable.

If you go with any tiller...my suggestion?...the troy bilt...the top of the line..I sell these as well as mantis...don't care for the mantis as the ones I have are the 2cycle and getting that through a customers head is like talking to a brick wall...my suggestion...you will do very well with going withthe troy bilt..they also have the pony which is cheaper...just do yourself a favor...don't loan it out?..I have had more customers that loan their equipment to a neighbor only to have a lot of heartache before it is over....then they want me to mediate?...ha!...I work on the stuff, I don't do mediation...other than to tell them...it's their own fault for loaning the equipment in the first place....

Go with the Husqvarna. It has all of the same specs as the Troy-bilt but 1/2 the price. We sell both and the Husqvarna by far out-sells the others. If you're buying new, make sure you ask about warranty time periods!!
