I still recal as clear as daylight that extremely magical moment - now 23 years ago - when I first held my first born for the first time in my arms. His wrinkled body was still reddish and full of gumk from being born, and I had the honor - and great pleasure - of giving him his first bath! That was one of the most unforgettable times in my life, only equelled three years later by the similar experience of holding his sister mere minutes after her birth and also giving her, her first bath and loving care . . .
My heart nearly burst with pride and joy; my senses reeled; my respiration wouldn't settle to an even rythm and I just couldn't stop smiling like the proverbial cat who'd inherited the cream shop! If the world had ended then and there, I would have died the happiest man alive! Nothing could dampen my spirits! In 52 years of life, I have not yet found any other experience so absolutely exquisite as these two wonderful experiences!
And today, my love for these two exceptional people, simply grows in leaps and bounds on a daily basis, for they truly are wonderful, superb creatures! They still manage to astound me and surprise me pleasantly on a regular basis! I can only thank God for the privilige of being their Dad!

Positive moments like going to the old Disney movies with my Grandma or Aunt and when they come back out today I think of how happy I was. Going camping with my family when I was young all the way through my teens. We had campers so it wasn't roughing it so much but I met a lot of my best friends and my first boyfriend there. Joining and participating in the military. It gave me a better sense of right and wrong and was one of the best experiences of my life. I live for the good times and use thoughts of them to remind myself how good life is during bad times.

My magic momentsare the 1s when i1st met my ex-boyfriend. I had never really had a proper boyfreind before him. My parents had split up when i was young and since then everyone had ignored me thinking i was able to cope with what had happend. In fact i hadnt been able to and when i met him he made me feel so special i wasnt used to it and wasnt sure how to take it.
Even now i go over all the days he took me to loch lomond or really gorgeous places and just sat holding my hand. Every night before i go to sleep i think back to those moments.
From them i can decide what sort of person i want to be and what sort of life i want 2 have!

The birth of my son, had complication and could not see him for at least 7 hours after his birth, the feelings that raced through me when I finally seen him were overwhelming, none that I have ever felt before and doubt I will ever feel again. Not a day passes when I look at him and feel how truly lucky I am to have him in my life.

Holding my baby niece in my arms when she was just a few hours old... I cant have kids so this is the closest I'll get.
I can't describe the feeling to do it justice.... the joy, the sadness, the fear but most of all the love - sheer love for this precious little bundle

A hot air balloon ride. So peaceful, tranquil, beautiful. Away from the world and it makes you take in beauty and realize how small the little problems are in life, and how little we all are in life. I could have been over 2 million dollar homes and limos, but nothing mattered up there. Everything down there was the same.

Oh, there are so many!

I love it when my husband, son and I are piled on the couch, munching popcorn and watching a funny movie!

I love it when I see my son, sitting with his youth group during church, worshiping God!

I love it when I round the corner and see my parent's house after being away for months and months.

Special moments that make it hard to breathe!
