I wouldn't like it one bit

While I have been called racist I am compelled to answer truthfully. On it's face I would not like the idea. That said,my child would have the right to choose for herself, but I wouldn't sign off on it w/o really digging into the guy's background and I mean thoroughly into it.I don't want a pimping trash talker knucklehead calling me 'dad'.If I approve of him there would be no problem and if I didn't I would simply "wash my hands of it" and severely limit my relationship with my daughter if not ignore her completely.

I'd ask how long she's known him, that she has already decided to marry him, and this is the first time I'm meeting him!

His race is not an issue.

Nothing. I am not white so I can't have a white daughter. This question can't be answered by me.

I have a white daughter and a couple of her boyfriends were black. No problem. It's her life, I won't tell her who to spend it with. What would you do? 2D

I'd have to question my husband. Where did this brother come from?

Cool with me....as long as he is good to her & treats her with respect....her step-father (my husband) is "a brother".
