Which next gen game console should i buy?

I love fps and shooter games. But im afariad that halo 3 wonjt live up yo its hype and i dont have a hd-tv i really dont want the wii so idk

Well it really is wii that re-defines shooters like Driver parallel lines giving the game a more real feel but it all depends on what you like exactly

Wii: redifnes most games with its motion sensor and online capabilties of easy web searching with engines such as google, the wii remote does add to the action of what the 360 was lacking FULL play of previous console games/it also allows you to buy the old classics like super mario 64 and sonic the hedgehog by using wii points which can be bought in store,the wii is lacking in a few departments such as graphics and system power and is commonly said to be a gamecube with a motion sensor.

PS3:This is rumored to be the worst system out there even though people say its the best (such as some dude from sony quitting because it sucked so bad) the games graphics ARE better than 360 for the moment and has opened the next generation of high res movies known as Blu-Ray the game has an assortment of games from release (especially in my area) it does have a slightly modified Ps2 controller called SIX-AXIS it allows you to interact slightly with the games by tilting the Six-Axis in different directions but the ps3 is still unconfirmed if its the best since it IS the highest pricing of the machines ranging all the way to 950$ (and thats just my area) but some say its just a ripoff since it has the PSP's main screen.

Xbox 360: the oldest of the next gen consoles being released first (blah blah) they have worked out a few bugs in the time it has been out and the ONLINE or L!VE play is extremely nice being able to interact and play with other players (provindg you have gold memebership) it did something that none of the other systems did (yet) and thats whats keeping it in the race for best system, basicly the controller is upgraded from old Xbox controller with a white tune up the system itself is also alot less heavier unlike the old XBOX that people reffered to as "The Brick" which also reffered to its constant bricking, it has been seen to be better than PS3 even though ps3 graphics are better it is believed the 360 can handle things better (such as procceses)also has the 360 arcade or L!VE arcade where you can download trial games for free online (also download movie trailers and if you have points FULL MOVIES *for limited time* also download game demos for free)

If you want good graphics and hardrive, get the 360. The games for it are, on average, a bit more mature than those for the Wii...the 360 has a bigger chance of having FPS games come out for it. The PS3 is a waste of money...if you don't have a HD-TV, you can still play the PS3, but it is not the best quality. So you would basically be paying $600 for the system, plus another $1000 for the TV. The 360 can d anything the PS3 can for $200 less, plus you don't need a HDTV. Also, the Wii is a great system if you want to get it, it has really fun games, though not many in the genere you enjoy (though RE4 is very fun) and it can't play movies or music.

I suggest you to get Playstation 3 as it has got better spec and free online gaming, on xbox it cost you like £40/$80 a year to allowed you to play online gaming.

There is alot faulty xbox360 and I have heard alot of those died.

Playstation 3 has got more hard drive space. build in wireless. I could go on all day saying why you should buy playstation 3.

Whichever you choose you wont run short on FPSs. Halo3 aside, the 360 has Bioshock (which also looks good, and is rumoured to be PS3 bound in the new year)
The PS3 already has Resistance, and is getting Haze and Unreal tournament 3 by xmas. (again 360 next year)
Both are getting half-life 2 and call of duty 4 by the end of the year.
Not sure about no-HDTV on 360 (i fairly sure it's fine), but the PS3 is fine without (mine currently isn't).
The PS3, i think, is worth the extra initial expense, for the extras that come with it and better stability, but it's up to you.

I would have to say PS3..I bought one recently and it is really fun...They have a lot of games to choose from and they are coming out with a lot more i have always perfered the Playstation because they always come out with a lot of games and I like to have a huge selection to choose from....and The PS3 still has good graphics even without the HDTV because I don't have a HDTV either but, it still looks good...So that is what i would choose...Hope this helps:)

Get the Xbox 360, the PS3 is only focused on its crappy Blu-Ray capability. The games are horrible and usually have bad graphics. The 360 is all good.
