This miniseries is based on the novel "IT" by Stephen King. In the miniseries, as well as the book, the story is told through flash backs. You do have to pay attention. I thought that it was very true to the book, but found the ending of the miniseries was somewhat disappointing compared to what I had imagined when I read the book. Ah, well, I guess budgets and special effects are not mutually inclusive...
It's good, but I would recommend reading the book as well.

I found it stupid to be honest. I don't really find much of Stephen Kings works to be too scary, they kinda just drag out and bore me. I know that a lot of people love the movie though and it has made clowns to be a very scary part of their life too! Its not confusing though so just watch it at a better time for yourself to be able to pay more attention.

It's really good, but it is a two-part story, so it should have 2 discs, part one is when the characters are young, and part two is when they are grown up. It's a very good story, and very creepy and scary! You'll like it! Just make sure you have time to finish the whole thing when you start to watch it cause it is pretty long...

Seen it... kinda cheesy & actually has a FEW creepy parts to it. But the book is a LOT better.
It's a psychological horror story - and it's just not possible to put those kind of "images" on the screen.

One word - Terrifying!
I had read the book and it creeped me out, but after Tim Curry's performance I now hate clowns.
Watch the beginning again, Georgie's death is key to the story.
