I'm 23 weeks pregnant and I was wondering if it were safe to swim. We put chlorine and bleach in the pool to keep it clean. My concern was about the bleach.

It's fine right up until your water breaks. Until then, the amniotic sack seals your baby off from anything that may enter the vagina.

Yes, it is safe to swim in fact doctors will tell you that swimming or walking while you are pregnant will make your delivery so much easier on you! As long you do not keep swallowing the bleach you will be fine. Your body will reject it, as long as it is in small portions.

I don't think there is a problem swimming, but only in a clean sea. Swimming pools can have bacteria, and you could get something. If you are sure that the pool is well disinfected, OK.
