A non-existent human construct that was invented in an attempt to help order our perception of the universe around us. We perceive event A occurring then event B. To us, there exists an interval between when our brains perceived the two events.
From somebody else's perspective, the two events may have been perceived to occur together with no interval or perhaps in the opposite order.
Defining time as a constantly moving dimension just acts to teach humans how to perceive events in a common way so we can come to some sort of agreement of that other elusive concept ....
reality!.
