Is life just about the here and now?

I was thinking about this, sort of. The fragility of life. How we would act differently if we were all given an expiration date of 70 years and no more or less. The answer I came up with is that it's impossible for me to know the answer, because I'm in this system and have the biases that come with it.

The here and now is for the future. You really can't seperate them. Life is your 'ride' through time. I said all that and I didn't say anything you didn't know.

Life is in essence the relationship a human has with the Maker.

Creation exists in time and space but the after-life is not contained by it.

The Creator is obviously not contained or limited by that which he has created.

To fall out with the Creator would be unwise. Life is not just about the here and now but includes the present and is destined to explore the heart of eternity which is uncreated and beyond origins.

Oh gosh I wish it could be. I get so knotted up in my head with what happened years ago and what might be happening tomorrow. I find myself in fights with my boyfriend over a decision he made so long ago, or I feel guilty over something I might've told someone back in school. Or I stress that next week I might not be able to go out because I might not have been paid blah blah. I HATE it. But you know what? The big stuff doesn't bother me as much. I'm not worried about dying or marriage or babies or careers...if the big stuff did bother me, then maybe I'd be justified in being stressed out!

Life should totally be about the here and now. When you're with the one you want to be with, doing the things you want to do - instead of worrying that you're in work tomorrow or whatever. Trying to convince ourselves of these facts is a lot more difficult than it sounds though hey?

This is not a rehearsal it is the real thing. However that does not mean the Hollywood 'living for now' IE lots of drinking n drugs and the like. It is about knowing what YOU want and how You can become what you want to be.

Life is an experience.. You have only got one oppertunity to enjoy your life. You have been given a life to learn, if there was no life what is there. For example if we didn't have the life of earth where would we live. Life is compulsary........... You need Life....

In essence. But it is important to embed yourself into permanent relationships and situations. If they don't work out you have the fun of knowing that you if you are unhappy and of walking away to freedom.
