they'll be alright, I say 8-8 this year. Maurice Drew-Jones is the next big thing, but im not a Jags fan either

I would say that they need a consistent QB out of Leftwich or Garrard this year if they want to have the success they had a few years back going 12-4. They have receivers that can catch, a decent O-Line..great RBs..deep there...great front 7 and what's his name..Rashean Mathis? That guy's a beast of a DB...Not to mention the guy they drafted, Reggie Nelson
Jaguars are a good team and could be contenders to appear in the playoffs this year...maybe not a Super Bowl favorite right now, but if they can make the playoffs, they are a contender. Any team that can make the playoffs should be considered such...especially after what Indy did last year. Now, it wont be an easy run for the playoffs...Denver's looking good for a wild card, the AFC North could go either way...and the Jets, who knows what they'll do. So Jacksonville may have to win their division this year, which isn't out of the question, but it's not going to be easy, Indy may have lost most of their defense, but the offense will control the games.
Good luck to the Jags

I LOVE MY JAGUARS!!!! Yes I'm from Jacksonville, Yes I have Jaguars apparel....No I don't have the money for games....Yes i have money to pay for electricity to watch the games. Alright.....truthfully, they will win the division by won't go past the 1st or 2nd playoff game. Byron Leftwich is throwing well and he is improving. Though he's not going to be dependable for EVERY game. Now that we have some of our injured players from last season back, our defense will be even better! Wide receivers are a little shaky but they will be alright. Just hoping that Jaguars get some exposure when that Monday game agains the Colts come on.
GOOOOOO JAGS!

The Jaguars are one of those teams that can go either way. They have an outstanding in the trenches team...meaning good defensive line and great running game. A lot of people say that their biggest problem is the QB situation, but its not. Their biggest problem is that they have the biggest group of underachieving WRs in the NFL. A record of around 8-8 seems most likely unless one of those wideouts decide that they want to be a #1 receiver in this league

The jags will struggle with the new safeties in their cover 2 scheme that they like to run. Their WR core is pathetic..seriously and QB is a concern.
They will have to rely on their D, not giving up big plays and running the ball maybe 60% of the time to win.
Looking at their schedule, they will be lucky to go 8-8 with their problems at WR and QB.
They will miss the playoffs this year.

Big question mark on their QB? With MJD and Taylor they should be able to have a solid running game. Decent defense too.

Jacksonville looks to win 10-12 games this year. That may or may not be enough to take the division but it will give them a spot in the playoffs. However the AFC is still dominated by the Pats, Colts and Bolts. The Ravens are trying to become somebody and there are a bunch of teams trying to get over the hump (Bills, Jets, Bengals, Chiefs, Broncos).
The Jags will go to the postseason but I don't see them getting past the division round.

Not much, they are not very interesting. Not a good passing game, good running game, pretty good defense. Overall, they're not very impressive and not many people are scared of them. Will probably do pretty good, maybe 9-7. Probably will not make playoffs.
