What kind of petition would this be!
and dont say turn off the radio!

I guess instead of turning off the radio, you could try getting a petition going from all over the place complaining about certain songs and if you could get enough people to sign it, maybe they would stop playing certain songs so much. I don't know if it would work or not, but I feel ya there!!! The annoying songs seem to be the ones that are played the most...on every station there is, and the good songs get almost no play at all!!! I hate it, and wish that we could change it!! : )

honeslty I don't know what else to do but not listen to those stations. but that would be hard because say if station X is playing one song and you turn it to station Y usually the song on station X is begining to play on there and so on. So I guess get as many people as possible to contact the radio station to voice their displeasure. When songs are overplayed it ruins them so much.

Top 40 stations are told to play whatever's popular. No petition would work. You'll just have to listen to another station.
