after getting abuse from a prior question why should i be made to feel sorry for working girls. no-one forces them to do what they do..and if they do it cos they are on drugs..well thats their own fault isnt it? there are lots of jobs out there..even a idiot can work as a cleaner or in a shop. yes some may come from other countries and be forced into it..but then how silly do u have to be to think someone will take you to another country to get a normal job? i mean those girls are just foolish. at the end of the day im 100 times better then a working girl and i dont see why i should have to be made to feel bad for thinking that! so whats your thoughts?

No-one is saying you are not better than a working girl, or you should feel sorry for them, but at least live and let live. Apart from drug problems, some working girls have men who force them out on the streets to feed their habit.

No one is trying to make you feel sorry for anyone. However, you obviously think of them and their "situation" as pathetic. I agree, but, what about the men that solicit them? I also believe that there are young girls tricked into or forced into prostitution by disgusting exploitative people. It really is a sophisticated and confusing world. Your ability to feel compassion is yours to do with as you decide. Sometimes it isn't all that it may seem.

Not all "working girls" as you call them are drug users or have pimps, remember the Yorkshire Ripper woman, they were working class mothers who needed extra income and did as they thought best. They really do not deserve such comments do they? Their children are in their 30's and could well be on Yahoo - how would you feel then?
This is your opinion, and some opinions should be kept quiet - just pray that you always have food on your table and clothes on your back and a roof over your head .

Where is your empathy? Are you totally heartless? Do you have any kids? Any daughters? I hope you are too young to understand how the real world treats these unfortunate women. No one starts out as a prostitute, it's something you have to work up to. Booze and drugs are expensive and addictive, and they are both very hard to walk away from. And where do you walk to? If there was any other alternative, don't you think they would take it?

You are entitled to your opinion.
But some girls are forced to work as working girls depending on their income like if they are from a poorer family.
Then again, they could always work their butts in school and go get a good job.

You lack empathy. That makes you more self-righteous, not necessarily better than anyone. Often times girls get into it because they feel it's absolutely necessary for their own survival. Obviously, you've never been in this position. Count yourself "lucky" not "better".
