Ileft Mich for work not to avoid paying this debt But I know this is going to prove otherwise to everyone .if at all possible I will go to my grave without paying this man a penny I also have arelated ? is there a statute of limitations on small claims

The problem has followed you and it will continue to haunt you until the judgement is satisfied. Is it really worth it? I mean, for peace sake alone, it seems worth paying. The person you owe is undoubtedly not going to drop this.

The PI may be local but hired through Michigan. I am sure whoever hired him has a reason (and may try to get it ordered for you to cover the cost). As it stands, it appears you fled Mich to avoid paying an owed judgement. The judgement will follow you until paid off. Some employers are using credit checks for hiring purposes and this may show up.
