I am preparing to allow Martin to open a big gate but I want to keep Barus, Jauffre, and Burd alive while keeping Martin's back covered. Any tricks you've learned while playing it?

Also, when actually entering the big gate, what is the best path to get to the stone as quickly as possible. I will be using an invisibilty spell to slip past Daedra and I have enchanted my armor for speed. But which way should I head?

Unfortunately, you can only do so much with Baurus, Jauffre and Burd, they can actually die while you are inside the Great Gate. Martin is the only character that gains invincibility once you enter the gate.

As far as direction, there really isn't any one way that is better than another, they pretty much are all the same as long as you keep going in the one direction, and don't take any detours, but the invisibility/speed combination is pretty good, but time really isn't a factor. I can usually fight through this mission and get to the stone with at least 9 minutes to spare, the final tower is really short, it only has one side area.

Keeping people alive, reguardless of the difficulty that you're under, is ALWAYS going to be hard.

If you're talking about the Great Gate mission, Martin will remain alive as long as you keep fighting, and making sure everybody lives until the Great Gate appears.

As for finding the quickest way to the Sigel Stone, sorry to give you a half *** answer on this, but I found through trial and error and remembering my previous routes to find it quickly

I believe that would be okay. It's not really that bad of a game, considering it was originally rated T (I'm only familiar with ESRB) it was re-rated due to a mod on the PC version which replaced the female skins with... well... nude ones. I'm mean there's plenty blood and gore in some places and a few sexual terms, but I don't think it's to graphic for a 12 year old. I started playing it when I were 12 so... it's just up to you.
