I would say learning that it's OK to have and show emotions.
In my teenage years, it was very hard for me to show that I cared for people because, after surviving a childhood where everyone I cared about was taken away from me, I did my best to suppress any and all emotions for fear that they would be used against me. I called it my "Vulcan Phase".
When my sister was murdered and I realized I had never told her that I loved her, I vowed that I would never let that happen again. From that day forward, I have lived my life with my heart on my sleeve...sure, people I love will come in and go out of my life, but they will do so knowing exactly how I feel about them.
I don't know how that ranks as far as great accomplishments are concerned, but it was huge for me.

Leading many people to see that Faith in Jesus is the only way to live, and accomplishing many things to help others, but thts just the standard for a Firefighter/Chaplain.

well, i would say and i have told you thru e-mails that my greatest accomplishment is doing thirty years in the military
and three tour,s of duty in iraq .and comming home in one peice and i hope all the other people that read my answer not
think of me a war monger but just a guy that answered his nations call and did his job and duty the best he could.and all
we would like is some one to tell us welcome home and thank you for putting your life on the line fo me.

Been able to prove to everyone that I can raise my child on my own without their help. Its hard work, but its possible and will keep on doing it.
