I had one about 7 years ago and went to work the next day had very little pain and almost no scarring. i was told it would hurt bad and the ancor scars would look terrible. Was i just lucky or do all women heal like this after a reduction. it looks so good my doctor still uses my after pictures on his adds.

oh no i'm sorry i was not bragging. i was thinking of going to a size B since i have lost so much lbs. If it was just freakishly lucky than i may not want to go through it again since i'm 27 now.

You were lucky, you should have taken off two weeks of work and taken your time getting back up to full strength.

I was up and about at two days post op being very careful and had no recovery problems, but not everyone is like us.

My scarring is also minimal. I had NO pain and needed no painkillers after my surgery.

There are few who heal as fast or as well as you/us, so if you talk to others interested in it be sure you reiterate that NOT everyone heals at a fast rate, and you should take off at least two weeks of work and make sure someone is around to help just in case.

I know several people who rushed back into things and their recovery was very difficult with open spots and problems.

I would say a big part in this is your age. But, I do have a friend who is going through the same thing. I would say a breast reduction would be a very good idea. You would probably rather get the surgery and hurt for a little while, then have your breasts cause some serious permanent damage to your back.
