since this year's allergy season, my ear canals have been itchy. They are also flaking. Is there any homeopathic remedy I could take?

I get itchy ears from swimming and from eating too much sweets / wheat / sugar. I bought some Similasan ear drops (yes it's a homeopathic formula) at a local drug store and I like the product a lot. Similasan has a web site you can order from if you can't find the stuff at the store.
I suggest, though, that you may also wish to observe if there are dietary triggers. Some people say that itchy ears are from fungals and certainly a diet high in junky foods can throw the body off balance so fungals can take hold.
Good luck!

There is a herb called Baical Skullcap which is particularly good for reducing symptoms of allergies. Omega three Essential Fatty Acids can also help.

I'm also a fan of hydrogen peroxide (over the counter 3% stuff) in the ears occasionally. Cleans, disinfects, and some swear it cuts colds & flu infections in half.

You can pour a capful of hydrogen peroxide into your ear and let it bubble. Pour it out when it stops bubbling and dry with a cotton bud. That always helps my itchy ears, but mine don't flake. (And my Dr. said it's safe)
