My poor old counter top is worn bare already and I was making blueberry pies the other day, do you have any advise on how I can make it white again?

Try: vinegar, diluted bleach, soak with a paste of ajax with bleach or the magic eraser. One of those has to work.

I use to have a white counter top, looked great when it was white, but what a pain in the you know what.

I use to put pure bleach on it once a week, let it sit for as long as it takes to bleach the stain out.

Obviously you have to be real careful that the counter is the only thing you bleach.

Yes, I DO have a suggestion. First, change the countertop to Corian.

If that's not an option, look for "DiDi 7", the miracle cleaner from Europe, apparantly developed by ...ummm, the Germans. Wonder what THEY were trying t turn white?????

DiDI 7 works good.

OxyClean is ok, too.

For future use, try applying an oil or wax to seal the porous top to prevent this mess again. Or give up pie.
