Every country has gone through some level of Civil War (some more than once). Doesn't Iraq have to do the same to find it's own equilibrium? The longer our troops stay there the more of them will die just to delay the inevitable.

They'll either work it out with bloodshed in a quick manner, or they'll work it out sneaking to the polls to vote, while trying not to get murdered, which will go on for decades, and will meet the same eventual result, unless we are willing to support them with tax dollars, and provide for the security of a government we built, forevermore.
