Its possible that you didn't have your period but rather it was implantation bleeding. If you conceived on a day when you weren't with your husband, count back up to 6 days. If you were with him at all in that window then it is possible that your OB has a pretty accurate date of when you conceived. If you know for sure when you conceived, just stick to your guns at the end of the pregnancy when docs usually try interventions because they think you are farther along than you really are.
Good luck!

RE:
Can you get your period right after conceiving?
I am going to be 25 weeks tomorrow and I have been thinking...the doctors are saying that I conceived on a day which, one I was not with my husband and two I was on my period..I am a little confused..is it possible that we conceived before my period and that with me flying and traveling to the top...

It is possible that you and your husband could have conceived before your period that is if sex took place of course and doing that extra stuff wouldn't keep you from getting your period for the month and for future reference doctors don't consider you pregnant before you actually are because by that time the baby would have shown up already and it takes 2wks for that to happen

Yeah I think it is possible. Some women have their period during their pregnancy. So, who really knows. I have heard of several cases like this, in which the husband and wife were not together that day, or not sexually active that day and then it causes fights between them because the wife must have cheated if she is pregnant.....that is not the case....If you have truthful to your husband and your positive that you had your period, then your doctor must be wrong!!!! Doctors are human too and they do make mistakes.
I wish you the best of luck with your baby and also I want to thank you for serving in our military. I hope they give you some extended leave when you have the baby!

Yes, I think it is possible. I don't think the doctors really know when you actually got pregnant. I had a period for weeks after conceiving...the doctor said it just happens sometimes, especially when you are really active.

Absolutely. But the date your baby is conceived can not be determined to an exact date, it is often an estimation around the time you got pregnant. So I wouldn't worry about it too much, doctors can be off by days, weeks, even sometimes months.

Doctors consider you pregnant before you actually are. They go by the first day of your last period when figuring out how far along you really are. Chances are you got pregnat 2 weeks after the day they count you as pregnant.

There are some women who have their periods the whole time they're pregnant. I'm not sure how it works or why, but just because you have a period doesn't mean for sure that you aren't pregnant!

With the new 40 week pregnancy calendar, you calculate differently. It is possible, but highly unlikely that you would have a period while pregnant.

infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility. However. infertility isn't terrible like you thought, we can treat it. Learn more here:
