Why???.......Why does the media not cover this???... That is the reason for the ignorance...No one knows about this so nothing is being done...Like me, you have local TV sations which have online websites...Everyone must ask this question.....WHY HAS THIS NOT BEEN REPORTED...I have searched two of my local stations and not one report has been made on this topic....JENA 6.......In order to help we must KEEP TALKING....write to your local newpapers, radio stations, news stations.....Demand coverage on this issue so that the truth be known.......WE MUST KEEP TALKING....

well the only real answer is mass chaos, it would start a riot. People all over the country would be out raged. Just the thought turns my stomach, to keep six young men for so long under such high bonds. Fights fair, unfair, justified and unjustified have been going on in school for years. I mean close to 20 years. Unless someone died no one went to jail. They got suspended for 3 days to a week. Yes if it where covered by the mainstream media a riot bigger then any other who wreak havoc.

Why do I feel like only black people know about this? More people know about Michael Vick abusing a dog than know about nooses still being hung from trees. This is such blatant injustice I feel dumbfounded. What is going on in this world? Have we heard anything back from the miner? Of course not, they've been dead for two weeks! I read the thing about Hugh Christopher Newsom and Channon Gail Christian. Very interesting sounds like people today are still going through what my ancestors went through 300 years ago. Its time for a change man!

Because Jena is thousands of miles from the Boston-Washington belt and the "Hollywood scene" which consumes most of what passes for news on the broadcast and cable outlets. That's why I despise the term "mainstream media". Their "mainstream" is a geo-centric "creek", about forty miles wide, running down the Eastern seaboard.

simple. Its the medias job to distract the populace from any real issues. Why talk about real issues when they can talk about linsay lohan and paris hilton, or curse death upon michael vick while their country slaughters innocent humans overseas everyday.
As you can plainly see there are MUCH more important issues that are in the spotlight right now.(LOL)
