I tried it once, and it seemed like a lot of birds pushed a lot of the seed out of the feeder seeking a different kind in the mix. Probably made the chipmunks happy!

WHEN YOU BUY BIRDSEED, JUST LOOK FOR THE BLACK SEED CALLED THISTLE, THEY LOVE IT AND SUNFLOWER SEED TOO, THE OTHER SEED DOESNT MATTER SO MUCH, BIRD SEED IS BIRDSEED

All of don t know POOOP about birds & seed! Costco s RedCardinal Birdseed is mostly a coveted mix of safflower & black oil sunflower, which EVERYDAMN BIRD IN THE WORLD LOVES. At $.50/#, it s a steal!!!!Safflower alone costs over $1.20/#, black oil even more. I m buying it before they get wind of the demand and raise it!!!
Ignore this at your risk, foools!!!!!
