I don't want to have to go through the front door, around the back and turn on the hose everytime I want to squirt off my flowers. Is it okay if I just keep my hose turned on (as long as the pressure isn't too high) and leave the knob turned off so all i have to do is turn the knob and water my flowers? Your help is greatly appreciated!

As long as your spray nozzle doesn't leak, you should be fine. A well fitting sprayer is basically an extension of the faucet mechanism, holding the water in the pipes (or hose, as it were). Don't crank the faucet higher than you need, but you already know that. Happy gardening.

This is fine until your hose gets worn in one spot from the sun or whatever. Then you will wake up one morning with a huge puddle in your yard. And if you are away for any length of time be sure turn it off completely at the house.

It is not advisable if your temps are currently high. The water in the hose will get hot and build up pressure. This could cause the hose to rupture.

you can, but the seals on your hose will wear out sooner than they normally would with proper care.
