I'll start by saying that "kal_el4life" comments are retarded. "They do better than everyone else so they make more money", HUH? The Yankee owner is rich and likes spending money, thats where the money comes from. And it comes from the bandwagoneers that live in places from San Diego to Florida that don't want to root for their local team because they suck, so for them to say "Im a Yankee fan" is the easiest way for these lame brains to say that they belong to a "cool" fan base. Another thing, fans CANNOT be jealous of another team. I hate the Yankees because they are a rival...has nothing to do with me being jealous...jeeeeeeese.
I hate the Yankees because its fun to, and thats is.

its not that steinbrenner has that much more money. he just chooses to spend more of his own money. owners from other teams choose to just pocket the profits, while steinbrenner is actually very devoted to his team. you cant hate on a guy for actually wanting his team to win.
