Japan has no official national flower. Most people, however, consider the cherry blossom the unofficial national flower of Japan

Since Constitution defined Tenno (emperor) as a symbol of Japan, some official symbols use chrysanthemum which is the symbol of Tenno family. On passport, there is chrysanthemum symbol. Battleships and guns used chrysanthemum symbol in WWII. But there is no law, and people think cherry blossoms is the most popular and loved flower.

Cherry blossom/Sakura I think. But I don't think japan has a really official national flowers. But mostly people consider it as the cherry blossom

i called ministry of public management before.
they said lots of people think cherry blossom and chrysanthemum are national flower. but not.
there are no national flower.
