example I work with this guy (who I don't like at all) and he claims he spent a a few years living in england i believe...here's really from jersey..anyway he only lived in england for like 2 years (less than that) but that was like CLOSE TO 10 YEARS AGO. well he STILL HAS that really fake accent (its to funny to hear it)...don't you think he'd have lost it by now? being as I'VE LIVED THERE AS WELL FOR LONGER-i never came home with a accent. I've also lived in other countries...nope...no accent.
what's up with these fake people? do you think its something deeper and lacking in their lives?

maybe he is afraid that he is too boring and thinks that some culture will make people more interested in him. and he probably wants the attention.

I think they just want attention, or they really do think they have an accent...maybe he has a mental problem=)
This guy at my school allways pretends to have an aussie accent but he'll allways forget to talk in itand switch accents=) Its really ammusing=)

It has to be pretty amusing. I do not think I know anyone that does that on a regular basis. I do have friends that think they can fake it when they want to. Bunch if idiots. It makes me laugh though. I always like a good laugh.

They like attention, like you posting them on this site. Why don't you do something really funny in the office and surprise him in a manner he's not expecting, like he'll say oh s***, and prob. in his New Jewsery accent. I would love to hear that one, sounds crazy. and annoying.

i kinda 'pick up 'accents. i don't mean to , but by the time i leave vt ,i'm say 'Stob it' instead of 'Stop it' and by the time i leave answers sometimes my questions start to sound like other pples.
some call it copycatting. but i don't do it on purpose, i tend to kinda morph into it.
i pick up on pples moods too. like , if someone is having a pissyass day and spends too much time around me, their foul mood will seep on over to me.
