Ok so Im going to be an uncle from my wife's side for the first time right now. We are all South African. The father of the baby boy is an Afrikaner and the mother is (English speaking) South African. The mother is my wife's sister. They have shortened the list down to

Morne (Mor-nay)Ettienne (Et-tee-enn) De Villiers
Ettienne Morne De Villiers
Just write which one you like the best and other opinions if you want but I think this will be easier for Afrikaners although everyone can give an answer. Thanks in advance.

Where will your nephew be living? I ask this because if the family is living in the U.S., I would select the first name combo. The names are much easier to pronounce.
Otherwise, I prefer choice #3. Sounds very sophisticated! ;)
The name will also "grow" with the child.
