yes, but I have two brothers and we never listened. We always played ball in the house...football, soccer, basketball and any other game we could make up until one day we were playing soccer and my brother was supposed to be the goalie...well he missed the ball and it went straight into this huge mirror in my mom's room...the mirror broke and then fell onto her 5 disc CD player and then the CD player hit the floor and broke...after that we never played ball in the house again...EVER

My brother and I played football and soccer in the house. Obviously, she was far too busy to forbid basketball as well.
