You should really read Taking Charge of Your Fertility. The book goes into great detail about how to identify when you are ovulating & the days leading up to it.

For starters I would suggest purchasing a digital basal thermometer (about $9) and getting an ovulation chart (for a free trial version go to http://www.ovusoft.com/). By charting your temps each morning you will be able to see the increase in temp that means you ovulated.

Also, you can check your cervical mucus each day. When the fluid is slippery & lubricative similar to egg white (it will often stretch between your fingers) you are at your most fertile time in your cycle.

Good luck!

Most women do not have symptoms. Some may feel a twinge down low on the right or left, but not only. Some gals experience bleeding at that time, but not all.

In an ideal 28 day cycle, a girl would IDEALLY ovulate on day 14, 15, or 16. But we are all different.

The only way to be sure of what day you ovulate is to:
1. Chart your bbt religiously.
2. Take ovulation tests (every day if you have to).
3. Check your cervical mucus.

Chart all this on fertilityfriend.com . It will help you conceive.

I have a 31 day cycle. I found out I ovulate on day 18. You won't know until you start charting.

You get egg white like cervical mucus a few days before ovulation, and then it goes away after you ovulate.

Go to www.ovulationcalculator.com and find out when you are ovulating. You will notice a change in your Cervical Mucus. There will be a lot more and it will look like raw egg whites.
