It will be a little cool but not cold and it is worth going at anytime of the year. However, it is very colorful with all the leaves turning color and falling to the ground.

Do a search on "Farmers Almanac" or "the Weather Channel"
and you will see that the Buffalo, NY area gets over 3" of rain
in October. Low temperatures in the 40's . Yes, it is worth the
trip - just bring clothes for chilly days and raincoats.

It could be very cold. However, weather is changeable there this time of year, and it could be mild........in the 70's. A better time to go would be a week earlier, then the trees will be in their full autumn color....which would be an added bonus.

It could be awesome or it could be awful.... you never know at that time of year.

The view of the falls is better from the US side, but there is more to do on the Canadian side.

I think everyone should go to Niagara Falls at least once... but weather-wise you should be prepared for anything!
