I live in a row of 10 houses, and they live 2 doors away, today they have purposly parked 2 cars outside our house, when there is nothing outside theirs.
We have bought our house, and they still rent off the council, what can i do to get them to move their cars, as in the deeds, it doenst say that we own the parking space outside the house!
They have done this because i reported them to the RSPCA last week for leaving their dog in the back garden for a week while they went on holiday!
Anyway, how can i get them to park outside their own house!?

I have the exact same problem
I have a house a semi detached i own it.
At the side of my house i have a street where i can park cars along side my house.
But instead of the neighbours on the other side of the street parking on their side they park on mine.
It pisses me off.
Especially as my friends can't get a space to park.
I am at my wits end too believe me.
I don't own the road though and can't do much.
PS.......................................................................................
You might want to get a big pin and go out in the night and flatten a tyre. That's going to piss them off, do it again if they don't get the hint but be careful.

The bottom line is that the road does NOT belong to any of the residents and NONE have any more right to park in a particular spot than any one else, whether it be neighbour or visitor. Having said that, in small streets like this the neighbours mostly come to an unspoken agreement with each parking outside, or as near as possible, to their house. But as soon as there are kids of driving age or both members of a couple have a car apiece then problems start. visitors like you who stay over make matters even worse and it is not at all unusual for arguments to end up in punch-ups. You think it is annoying and inconvenient ~ hold on, you don't 'live' there, don't you think that the people who have their hard earned cash invested in their homes there have more of a reason to complain about annoyance and inconvenience than you and the other regular visitor? Your boy friends parents are renting and usually there is some thing in rental agreements limiting the amount of time visitors stay ~ it seems quite likely that the duration and regularity of you 2 'visitors' stays' may well be contravening a clause of the rental agreement {staying 4-5 nights a week every week effectively makes you a resident}. If any of the neighbours start complaining to your boy friends' parents Landlord they could well find them selves having to look for somewhere else to live.

Hi - Unless YOU told them that you had reported them to the RSPCA, there is no way for them to know. All incidents reported are treated in the strictest confidence.
As for the parking. Sorry, there's nothing you can do about it.
In the area that I live in we have to purchase residents parking permits from the local council. This STILL guarantees no parking outside your own property (or anywhere else in the street!) We still get non-permit holders parking, and there's nothing to be done about it unless a penalty is stuck on their car by a traffic warden.

I would recommend letting sleeping dogs lie (so to speak). If, as you suggest, they are deliberately harassing you because of the RSPCA report, then complaining to them about the cars would only escalate the situation, IMHO. You might find that your attempt to resolve the problem only aggravates it! There are lots worse things they could do than parking in an inconvenient location.

You cant make them move We have the same problem with the next street parking their cars in our street, because they think our street is safer, there's not a thing you can do about it ,
I would just ignore them ,and don't let them know its worrying you then maybe they will get fed up parking there if they think they are not getting to you

There is no way you can stop them as you do not own the road outside your house. However, I do sympathise as we have people parking outside our garage entrance for days on end. Your neighbours are being extremely childish if they are holding a grudge against you regarding reporting their dog. If I were you I would keep a low profile for a while - it could get nasty!

knock on their door a few times and tell them you have seen some suspicious people checking the cars and taking an unusual interest in the cars .they may move them back outside their own house to keep an eye on them

Park your own cars out front during the daylight hours and move them in at night.

I think that you're stuck with it, unfortunately. As far as I'm aware, there's no legal solution. Any body can park outside anybody else's house, always assuming that there are no general parking restrictions in force.

Have someone else park their car in your space when you are away. When you come home they move thus keeping your space.
Don't you just dislike people who don't know their own place?
