The reason i ask this because a friend of mine emailed me and asked me how my summer was going,
I told her not that great, because this year i didnt have time to have "fun"

she wrote back
"you are an adult now, most people that do things all summer dont have to work they are in school n the 3 month is vacation. life is not all about plusure"

WHAT?? where in my old email did it say that i wanted my whole life to be about plusure<------- (lol)
What rule book is that written in??
BTW im 22!!! Please tell me
Just incase i missed the life rule 101 class

I'm 32 and I try to have fun as much as possible. Sure, I take care of my adult responsibilities, but that in no way means I've given up my right to have fun. Just last weekend, I hung out with a group of friends playing silly games, playing on a playground and just letting loose. This weekend, I'll be taking care of both at the same time. The local fair opens on Saturday. I'll be working at the charity food booth. Just because I'm working doesn't mean I can't have fun while I'm doing it. I can easily joke around with the people I'm working with as well as the customers.

As adults, we need to be extra creative to create fun wherever we go. You can even make your job and household chores fun if you go into them with the right attitude and put the right spin on them....

What planet is your friend from!? At 36 years old, I have alot of fun! My husband and I built our first house last year, we go horseback riding with our friends, we have cookouts and get in the hot tub. We go bowling every now and then and spend rainy nights watching movies as we kick back on the couch. Yes, sometimes we do get so busy we don't have time for "fun", but it doesn't last and it has nothing to do with being adults. Being an adult doesn't mean you quit having fun. We go to county and state fairs, travel and so on. LIFE IS FUN!
