If it looked like casualty rates were going to wipe out our military, then I would change my opinion (i.e. if we were losing). So long as there's boots on the ground, we shouldn't think about going anywhere. They cannot kill all of our forces, so they will have to deal with us or give up.
Or if the Iraqi government totally gave up trying. If people were quitting left and right, or elections weren't working, or the people had no faith in their government there would be no purpose in continuing to protect them.

We are there, and we can not go back in time and change that. No, terrorism will never stop. Yes, we will face things on our own soil from time to time. But, if we wimp out and leave, we will be fighting this war on our own ground. Things will change for this fat cat generation. Public areas won't be safe and life will change. What happened to America the Brave? It seems like our soldiers are fighting this war alone sometimes. The morale of the soldiers depends on the morale at home. Get mad. Show some support.

If Jesus came back and said, "My children, get out of Iraq," they'd call him a long-haired appeasing hippie coward. They are completely hypnotized. I'd say "brainwashed," but that doesn't apply, and you know why.
